Toolmaking
Project management and accurate tooling specification are key ingredients for a successful tooling project. We work with a small number of quality Shenzhen toolmakers, hand-picked for their understanding of the technical requirements of UK toolmaking.
Our own UK tooling manager supervises all aspects of toolmaking, ensuring that GA drawings are complete and accurate. Tools exported to the UK are guaranteed and UK based support provided.

TQ provides a full European standard toolmaking service using our associate Chinese injection mould toolmakers. We make export tools for the UK and Europe; because we have a UK office and UK toolmaking partner we can deliver the tooling quality that export markets expect.
Standard tools are made for component manufacture as part of a TQ design / tooling / manufacturing project. This applies to aluminium die castings, compression tooling for thermoset material, sheet steel progression formings and other parts made by various processes in a variety of materials as well as injection moulds made for plastic.
All tools supplied by TQ can be made to UK standards using European steels (certificated) and standard DME / DMS ejector pins, sprue bushes and so on. In all cases we work closely with you to optimise the design of the tool(s) for the chosen material and overall component performance.
