TQ has always worked with a minimum of core preferred manufacturing partners in China since this offers us the maximum returns in terms of security of tooling and production, continuous supply, enforceable project management and a good working relationship with factory management and personnel.
Over the years we have refined our manufacturing operations and now have a series of specifications and procedures to make sure that every production run is carried out to the highest standard.For each project we have a work instruction sheet (WIS) that includes the BOM, part drawing files, tooling list, material specifications and suppliers, photographic record of all production processes including a snag list of accumulated production issues that require special attention to ensure that the risk of product rejection is minimised.
Our quality control manager discusses the WIS in detail with the manufacturing team to make sure that all issues are addressed. In addition our QC personnel carry out checks on all components supplied by our network of approved vendors, regular checks on quality levels on the factory production line and lastly random quality checks on outgoing product.
For low-volume specialist product manufacture we will assemble a small number of highly skilled personnel to assemble the item in production 'cells'; for more conventional batch production we will utilise existing lines within the factory.
For most products that we manufacture the minimum order quantity is 1000 pieces, however if the product has a very high value we will reduce this. Alternatively, if we are manufacturing several products for one client we will entertain a mixture of larger and smaller batches.
TQ will carry out all test procedures as required and print manuals, display cartons and provide operational Cd's as necessary. Finally we ship all product on shrink-wrapped pallets for sea transport or as required by air.
